For an example of the new epidemic of early deaths in America, one need only look at the hip-hop world. That said, Bushwick Bill of The Ghetto Boys, became another casualty of cancer’s rampage through American society, and the hip-hop community. However, what is rarely ever discussed is why certain cancers and diseases have become so prevalent. It is now even admitted by the World Health Organization, in no uncertain terms, that meat and processed meat are contributing to the early deaths of Americans, and to a greater degree, black Americans. It’s time to stop ignoring this and for a discussion to be had.

The entire nation is being rocked by disease, but the hip-hop world in particular is experiencing startling coincidences that is almost never highlighted. Rapper Bushwick Bill was battling for his life and unfortunately lost it to Pancreatic Cancer at 9:35 PM on June 9th, 2019. He was 52 years young. May he rest in peace and power. Not long before this unfortunate untimely death, we learned the sad news about John Singleton dying from a stroke also in his early 50s. A few others who recently died young were 2 Live Crews’ Christopher Wong aka Fresh Kid Ice and A Tribe Called Quest’s Fife dawg who died at 45 from diabetes. Before them was Guru from Gangstar, J Dilla and Nate Dog who each died from cancer, stroke and/or cardiac arrest. There a many, many others and the numbers keep rising. As all of these early deaths continue to be the new normal, what is almost never discussed are the possible causes or contributing factors for this new normal.
Obviously, this isn’t an issue only affecting black people or the hip-hop community, it is affecting all of us. However, black people just happen to be the worst affected group and the most culturally drawn to meats and processed foods.
Cancer, heart disease, stroke, and also respiratory and congenital diseases have become the number 1 killers in America today. And it’s a proven fact kept under a bushel that among many things, meat, diary and processed meat may be spiking the steady rise of heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, cancers and various diseases, for everyone, but again, at an even higher rate among black people. So why is the meat so carcinogenic and better yet, why is this never discussed?

There is almost never a good time to disseminate this information because we live in a meat-addicted culture. People loathe facts that disrupt comfortable belief sets, belief sets that work overtime to keep meat consumption unchanged. In addition to that, it also never seems right to use the time of someone’s death to grandstand on an issue. However, it’s about time we face reality and start discussing the state of the food industry and meat consumption instead of ignoring it as people we love drop like flies all around us. Unfortunately, there are lots of carcinogenic foods and products all around us, and processed meat is high on that list. Despite this fact, we live in a system that will never tell us that. The system we live in does not want us to acknowledge the food and products harming society because the system does not want change, it wants us to keep buying and keep eating.
The Food Truth
More and more people are adopting plant-based life styles because doing so improves health. This isn’t an opinion, it is fact. Our cultural over-consumption of animal meat is, in fact, deadly.
The truth is that the animals used for their meat are terrorized, beaten and they are living through depression and disease. To help kill the diseases and to fatten them up, they are pumped with drug cocktails including hormones and antibiotics. Then these very sick animals living very unnaturally are slaughtered. To keep up with our societal over-consumption of meat, the animals are hacked alive and handled like mechanical parts in a factory. Through every stage of the meat preparation, corners are cut and things are done to mask the real state of the meat in order to make it look as fresh, edible and presentable as possible as it arrives in our stores. Then the blissfully ignorant keep on eating the meat from depressed, sick, tortured and drugged up animals believing there is no consequence. Well, sadly, there is.
Many people in society have almost completely lost their spiritual nature and are living in a low-vibrational state. Consequently, people have become completely indifferent about ethical decisions or what they put in their bodies. Completely removed from the hands-on farming and preparation process, people lazily put blind faith in corporations, and just keep on eating. Sadly, people have seemingly lost the ability to connect the dots between diet and the state of public health.
Everything is energy. When we eat the dead meat as its given to us at the moment, we unwittingly ingest the energy of the trauma the animals suffered to some degree. Energy takes on different forms. We also ingest traces of the hormones and antibiotics. To believe that there is no eventual consequence or adverse reaction is not wise. Regardless what people want to believe, the science is clear that the meat is causing diseases, and primarily cancer. Take it or leave it.
We’re living in a dangerous new world in which people are way too trusting of the information given to them, and not aware of the information not given to them. Nor do people want to change anything about they do. Regardless, in addition to the depletion of the Earth’s resources, and the barbaric torture of animals that people would rather not think about, the epidemic of early deaths can be connected to society’s love affair with processed animal meat. It’s about time this is finally taken seriously.
