The Shameless Wasted No Time Coming for Kobe

The entire world has heard the terrible news at this point about Kobe Bryant’s sad and untimely death. Both he and his young daughter Gianna sadly lost their lives in the helicopter crash with 7 other victims. He’s being remembered and honored in Italy where he grew up, the Philipines, and literally all over the world. As sad as this is, it didn’t take long for social media’s #metoo public moralists to dig up the files on Kobe and relitigate his rape case. This very sick delusion that doing this is something altruistic has become a norm in our spiritually lost and morally confused American society. In the United States, there always has been an unhinged, psychotic and unrelenting attack on black males accused of anything. Even if found innocent, the accused are always guilty on the mere allegations alone, and it is a guilty sentence in the court of public opinion for life, and even after death. The #metoo and Times Up movements have only intensified this previously existing problem and given it license. The people dragging Kobe Bryant’s settled case back to light at the time of his untimely tragic death is a new low in an already low environment.

We live during a time in which society’s degenerates are thriving disguised as moralists. Society’s “bad guys” on the wrong side of history, which include the media indoctrinated, closet racists, ideologues, and “woke” emotional basket cases all get to pretend that they’re the concerned “good guys” as they take to social media with their very selective outrage.

These grandstanders seem to care more about finger-pointing, crowd shaming, and lynching these cherry-picked targets than they do about ethics or real rape victims not attached to a celebrity.

The grandstanders usually have the same MO; they rarely know any names of the alleged victims they defend or any specific details to the cases they pretend to care about. They usually have an aversion to evidence supporting reasonable doubt and they don’t even care if the accused was found innocent. They don’t care about specifics or due process, they make every new target symbolize another example of assaulted women everywhere, and they will hear nothing else. They don’t care if the cases were settled, if the cases are decades old, if the accused was vindicated or if they already served their debt to society. Nor are they the least bit concerned about who they are traumatizing with all of their psychotic antics. When it comes to black males and other targeted people and groups in America, the accused are given a “Scarlett Letter” for life, as the accuser or accusers are just believed, kept anonymous, and shielded from any scrutiny.

In addition to all of his friends, family, and former teammates reeling from the loss, Kobe leaves behind a grieving wife and 3 young girls. These young girls just lost their father and these obsessed rape-hunting ideologues have absolutely no chill. Despite the public shock and outpouring of love for Kobe, they still stormed social media to grandstand about his rape case that they knew very little about for his fans and surviving children to see and contend with as they mourn his loss.  Many of these demented zealots are frauds merely masquerading as good people with good intentions. It’s time for the truly good people in society to stop sitting back and it’s time to end this.

    The Rape Case

What many American citizens are always and still in denial about since the 1800s to present, is the harsh reality that black males do not get fair representation in the media. Although people only think so, very little has changed from days of old. In addition to this, we are in a very programmed society in which our media shapes and controls public thought drastically. These variables create the playing field we exist in right now. And no it doesn’t matter if the accused is poor and unknown, or rich and famous. Scores of American media platforms operate the same way, always shaping the narrative and tilting the table toward guilt with sometimes very deceptive reporting. This too was done to Kobe Bryant.

Here’s what liberal media platforms were lackadaisical in reporting about Kobe Bryant’s case; Bryant’s accuser already admitted to embellishing her story to authorities a bit and she also had sex with another person within hours of having sex with Kobe.  Even though this should have been an early game-changer, we are hard-pressed to find a periodical pointing this out with the same energy that they sensationalized the accusation. Publicizing the accuser’s numerous creditability issues would permanently damage the guilt narrative with finality. That’s why our controlled corporate media and woman’s advocacy groups did not allow this to happen. Many people just don’t understand how powerful mainstream media is and how much it manipulates and shapes everything we are told.

Even though there is enough solid information in existence proving this case never should’ve been mainstream, let’s take it for what it is and look at the facts. Kobe’s accuser voluntarily went up to his hotel room. She also admitted that kissing and messing around was consensual. However, she claimed that at some point she no longer consented. Kobe maintained that it was entirely consensual. Judging from the statements on record, both pretty much agree on how the encounter began, but how it ended was a “he say she say” case. However, historically to present-day American media always sides with the word of a white woman over a black man—even amidst many blaring signs that they probably shouldn’t. This scenario is as American as apple pie.  So whether it was true or not, Bryant was in very bad trouble regardless.

Making matters more convoluted was the aforementioned fact that her rape examination revealed she had another sex partner right before and/or immediately after sex with Kobe. This should have been hugely pivotal because it should have destroyed the illusion of innocence and chastity awarded to her by default as American media outlets lazily gave her benefit of the doubt.  Media sometimes steers us away from logical thinking. If she was having sex moments before sex with Kobe, that means she was no babe in the woods and no neophyte to sexual encounters. And if the other partner or partners were moments right after intercourse with Bryant, then that should have been sufficient ammunition for reasonable doubt. Could she still have been raped? Yes, of course. However, the alleged rape becomes less credible if it’s proven she jumped in the sack with another man or men immediately after sex with Bryant. Also, if she claimed prior to the examination that intercourse was rough and she has bruises, but it’s proven she slept with someone else within the same 24 hours, the case is over. Well, in a normal world it should be over, but we play by different sets of rules for different people. Kobe’s accuser had to come up with a story to explain why someone else’s semen and hair follicles were found, and she claimed it was because she accidentally wore dirty panties. That is both revolting and very strange. American media still gave her the benefit of the doubt anyway as Kobe and his defense were portrayed negatively. For simply using logic and reason while trying to defend himself, the media accused Bryant and his defense of trying to tarnish the “victim’s” image. Consequently, Bryant was in a no-win all-American quagmire. Kobe was walking on eggshells as any harsh defense or deflection was painted in the media as him adding insult to injury, further victimizing someone he assaulted. During the entire process the accuser was believed and protected, even as very odd developments came to light. And any attempt at defending himself would be spun around and used against him. Basically, there was no option to not believe her no matter what she said or how many men she slept with that week.

What some media outlets do brilliantly in cases like this is capitalize on the accused persons’ initial appearance of sketchiness and desperation in not wanting the story getting out. The same was done to Bill Cosby. Like Cosby, Bryant’s missteps, damning statements, “admissions”, and openness to deals, compromises, and eventually settling were mainly due to guilt and fear over infidelity getting leaked out to his wife, team, corporate endorsers and the public. It was not guilt because of sexual assault. Regardless, the media masterfully exploits how they appear to fortify the narrative of guilt. Then the gullible masses read the very one-sided “news” as reported and most likely walk away believing Bryant is undoubtedly guilty of sexual assault.

At some point, Bryant may have realized that his hand was forced and that guilty or completely innocent, his best option was settling. His accuser who had the privilege to remain anonymous dropped her case, refused to testify and agreed to settle for an undisclosed amount of cash.

When an accuser drops her case and agrees to a settlement, she’s making a decision to accept compensation and is no longer pursuing “justice”. The media and the public at large need to respect the decision and stand down. Unfortunately, they don’t. Relitigating a settled case at the time of someone’s tragic death to further an agenda is overly ambitious and truly sick. With the accuser herself paid off and no longer seeking anything further, it exposes that the witch-hunt was never about her in the first place.  It’s a lynching all about tearing him down.

The Same Thing Again and Again

We witnessed the same sort of thing regarding the late Michael Jackson. There is a demonic lust and an obsession to relitigate allegations without the evidence or the proper justification. So much so that an entire one-sided attack movie was produced blindsiding Jackson’s family, fans, and friends as absolutely no one was contacted. It’s bad enough to deal with his death, but the family has to live through the media’s hateful smear campaigns and attacks that never stop. The media only takes breaks when agendas fail or when people have had enough, but eventually, they go at it again when they feel the timing is ripe.

The very problematic movie Leaving Neverland was greenlighted even though HBO knew Michael Jackson was investigated by the FBI and was cleared. Corporate shills and internet trolls keep denying it, but it’s been confirmed. He also had his day in court and was found not guilty on all counts he was charged with and he was acquitted. Regardless, bucketloads of money was still pumped out to promote the movie alongside demands to “cancel” Michael Jackson. However, soon the European press began to chip away at the many lies told by both featured men involved with the film, so cancel culture very slowly began to call off the dogs. No, there were no apologies, retractions or pulling of the film. Despite the many lies exposed, Leaving Neverland was still kept on the air and very mysteriously won an Emmy.

So, is this really all for victims and “survivors”? It’s time for people to wake up and stop lying to ourselves about what this is.

    A Call for Humanity

People aren’t perfect. Nor are people 100% good or 100% bad. Nor are people the worst thing they’ve ever done. People are more complex than that. The self-righteous lynch mobs dragging accused people is evil and the people doing this are the real villains. Many times, the finger-pointers are terrible human beings, but they have the cover of not being as famous as the people they rant about. And that’s part of the serious problem with these cancel culture zealots; When people are indoctrinated into cult-like belief sets in the belief they are on the right side of history, they become desensitized to the humanity of their targets. They are oblivious to the collateral damage they are causing and rarely ever think of their target’s loved ones. Completely obsessed, misguided and hypnotized by their cult, the zealots mindlessly make the cases and people they target represent every assault victim’s plight. And the pundits, politicians and public personalities pandering to these cult movements of our day double down and make matters much worse.

It’s important to remember that all of us are imperfect and flawed. We were all young once and we all make mistakes. However, our mistakes do not define us. People are not the worst things they’ve ever done and certainly not the things we are accused of without a fair trial. That’s exactly what these cults are trying to achieve. They help frame narratives from one perspective and then give out life sentences to accused parties in the court of public opinion. This simply cannot continue anymore.

Bryant was an inspiration to people all over the world because of his work ethic and greatness. He was recruited out of high school at only 17 years old and retired as the highest scoring Laker of all time. On the court, he reigned as one of the greatest to ever do it, and off the court, many people know him for his words of encouragement, humanitarianism, and love for his daughters. Despite his infidelity in his early 20s that his wife forgave, overall, he was a decent good man and a great father who adored his girls. As people celebrate the life and legacy of Kobe Bryant, it is important to remember that he was a human being. The demented crowd-shamers attempt to completely erase legacies and they dehumanize their targets, limiting them to be known only for what they were accused of in a day of their life. The silver lining to all this is that more good people are beginning to see the true intentions behind some of the witch-hunts and more people are becoming sick of this.

When beloved icons die, trying to figure out what they did wrong as some weird form of activism is not the sign of a healthy society. We can do better. With the same energy people are using to rehash old transgressions, perhaps just a little bit of that energy can be used for looking inwardly, making sure we are policing ourselves as a society.
