The Gillette Ad Getting Under Men’s Skin

Gillette has sparked controversy with its new ad addressing topics ranging from bullying to toxic masculinity, and the ad is receiving a huge backlash. Feminists might insist the backlash is coming from hordes of insecure, “toxic” men who are “not getting it” and perhaps need more evangelizing. At any rate, condemning people for rejecting what is clearly a propaganda ad of sorts is proof positive that the world Orwell predicted is coming to pass. The backlash isn’t because men want to be bad, the backlash makes perfect sense. However, the real reasons the backlash is quite justified may never be aired on TV.

It’s important for us to understand that the people who are the wisest, the most well-balanced and spiritually sound are not in control in today’s climate. Societies weakest, emotional and imbalanced have formed powerful groups. These passionately supported groups have taken media and social media by storm. And that in and of itself is half the problem. Zealots with a very fixed and narrow-minded perspective on things are forcing dogma on the masses. These groups are pushing peripheries and are co-opting corporations to push their ideologies on unsuspecting targets that did not ask for lecturing from commercial ads. And the people supporting these groups are getting even angrier when the indoctrination of a one-sided perspective doesn’t take hold. We are living in a very highly emotional era of feuding ideologies, in which everyone thinks they are right at the same time. This is because we are living in a time in which there are no real leaders and we are not living according to any real moral compass. Society is eating itself alive, and order out of chaos is coming just around the bend.

The Hard Truth No One Will Say

Here’s the real truth not featured in any ads at the moment: There are good people and there are bad people in this world, and this is true regardless of race or gender. Good exists in every race and gender, as does bad. There are men all around us living disciplined lives as good fathers and husbands. And yes, there are male predators and bullies as well. The same thing goes for women. There are wonderful women who are great people; mothers, sisters and wives all around us. However, there are also many thieving, lying, criminal-minded and treacherous female degenerates all over the place too. This shouldn’t have to be stated, we already know this. People are people. However, we are in a time in which people are shoving their individual worldview and perspectives onto everyone else.

“Toxic masculinity” is a completely made-up term hurled at men, coined by unenlightened, idealistically confused, emotional zealots who formed powerful coalitions furthering one-sided agendas. It was derived from the term “hegemonic masculinity”, which was basically the concept of one man, R.W. Connell. R. W. Connell is an Australian sociologist who eventually became Raewyn Connell and “transitioned” into a woman. So someone who had what used to be referred to as “gender dysphoria” audaciously coined a term to be applied to “cisgender” males (men who are born men). Naturally, the unsubstantiated hegemonic masculinity concept drew several criticisms and was sustained primarily by the early Women’s Liberation Movements and Gay Liberation Movement. Regardless, this was nothing conclusive, real or verified, just someone’s concept, and never yet “a thing”. We are living in times in which we are not being taught the truth about our humanity based on real scientific or spiritual wisdom. We’re instead being pumped with opinion, rhetoric, and agendas. Men and women are different in specific ways, and that is nature’s way. And there are good people and not so good people around us. Regardless of race or gender, each of us has the task of trying to be the best version of ourselves as individuals. Unfortunately, however, we are a badly socially engineered society full of disinformation and people who merely repeat what they hear. In truth, there never was such a thing as “toxic masculinity”. These forced opinions and concepts from ideologues are causing societal chaos.

The same stunts have already been attempted before and we fail to learn from history. Probably because it’s rarely taught. As previously mentioned, different versions of toxic masculinity were already attempted. Back in the 60s, it was pushed as “machoism”. Gloria Steinem also pushed out labels on men who didn’t adopt feminism like “masochist”. It was a strategy in the feminist playbook that didn’t go over well. It was eventually rejected by both men and women. In its earlier versions, it never made much sense and seemed more like divisive attacks on men and traditional masculinity with not much substance behind it. Nowadays, however, they’ve perfected the talking points and have since dictated the new and improved term “toxic masculinity” into our lexicon, because of course there is something inherently wrong with men and not women, right?

The notion that traditional manhood is under attack is actually true. Men are in fact of a nature, a nature they are seeing demonized with propaganda. People are no longer able to see past their own perspectives anymore, so we fight. The ad obviously doesn’t resonate with straight men who it was pitched to because—of course, it doesn’t; and that doesn’t mean anything is wrong with them either. The ad is truly horrendous. There were so many obviously reprehensible transgressions smoothly fused into normal male psyche. The attack on the subconscious was very conspicuous. For example, as the old commercial played, the running crowd bursted through the picture right as the woman was about to kiss the smiling man on the cheek. Caught that one loud and clear. So hitting on women is wrong now? Folks don’t seem to understand this, but gutsy flirtation between men and women is actually how lots of happy couples got married. And two young boys wrestling is wild and crazy stuff today? Boy, was my childhood sick. The scene with the terrified father diving in to stop the boys from fighting with the cinematic theme music in the background was, well, something. And as if a line of barbecuing male stooges would all normally stand there and watch boys go at it like a cockfight. It’s as if the people who made the ad don’t even understand the heterosexual male psyche and assumed we’d all be illuminated and watching that part nodding “yes”, with tears in our eyes. It’s condescending as it is very weird. The overall insinuation was that we are living in a society in which heterosexual men are running around objectifying and violating women at will, as angelic, virtuous and defenseless women can do nothing but hold their pretty little heads down and shake their heads at the terribleness of men. The ad is abysmal.

The nonstop feminization of the masculine energy is misguided and not rooted in any real spiritual wisdom. Emotional basket cases with no spiritual wisdom or understanding of the masculine and feminine energies are calling the shots now. And so, when it gets to the point where propaganda ads are created that seem to preach to heterosexual men about how to be men, as if most men need to be lectured at not to rape or bully, not understanding the backlash makes you the societal problem. Not the other way around.

Not everyone is having the same experience or shares the same perspective regarding some of the movements of the day. For example, there is a growing community of men and boys whose lives were shattered after being falsely accused of sexual misconduct. I know of one who had to do jail time for a false accusation and ended up getting assaulted himself. Their accusers were by and large liars who were simply given the benefit of the doubt because they were women and girls. I’m pretty sure these boys and their parents want nothing to do with that commercial either. Unfortunately, however, no one seems to consider other points of view or self-reflects anymore. The liberal-minded masses are perhaps only thinking, “They are wrong! Why aren’t they getting it!”

It’s important to know there is an agenda for a gender war. This has been predicted by so many people throughout modern history and people still haven’t gotten the memo. Now, here we are.

Let me ‘cut’ to the chase: People on a high vibration know very well that this Gillette ad is low vibrational. Sure, they cooked and seasoned it up to look and sound like it’s on the progressive right side of history, but no it is not. It’s polarizing and made primarily to bolster feminist agendas. It was not made to uplift society to a better standard. In fact, by the looks of it, I’m not quite sure it was even made to sell any razors either. The divisive bickering it’s causing is showing you the truth. So, if you’re looking to jump on the right band-wagons and you want to support messages of truth, then you need to wake up and know that this Gillette ad—isn’t cutting it.
