The Democratic Party Continues to Descend

I wrote a blog some months ago about the decline of the Democratic party, and unfortunately, things have not gotten better. Several months later, now it is finally becoming more painfully obvious to everyone. When it comes to message and ideology, the Democratic party is currently on fire. As an independent, I’m not a fan of either party, but the Democrats seem to be losing their grip on strongholds they once maintained with ease. The Party is losing support completely mired in racism, scandal and identity politics.

The Blexit

The Democratic party relies heavily on the black vote. And garnering the majority of black votes was usually a given. Well, that trend is slowly starting to change. And the reason the Democrats are losing the black vote is because the Democratic party has been exploiting black people; they trot out black faces and have benefited from black support for decades. However, the party in recent times chose to spend most of its time and effort working for immigrants who are not even citizens of the country, LGBT issues, and feminism. Now the Democrats are looking at one big black middle finger.

Both parties are 2 wings of the same bird, in my opinion. However, the Democratic party is officially the worse of the 2 these days. This is because the Dems feign the altruistic moral high ground on most issues. So when they do their dirt, they’re more disingenuous about it. And they are definitely more dangerous in a variety of ways. When an entity does the dirtiest work in the guise of the “good guys”, that entity is worse than who we assume the bad guys are. And now black voters are starting to wake up and realize this. They are on the wrong side of history on a variety of issues because they are trying to please everyone; everyone except their most loyal group. Not smart.

Even though the black community suffers the most injustices by a landslide, the Democratic party can never speak about black issues without invoking or coupling it with LGBT comparisons, antisemitism or other groups, and black people are over it. Covert programs were implemented in the 60s and 70s to do exactly what we’re seeing today. Black people are the ones facing nonstop injustices on a regular basis, yet the Democrats are no longer addressing police brutality targeting black communities. In talking points, they were not addressing the still insanely high incarceration rates and wrongful convictions of blacks, or that the entire justice system is overwhelmingly unfair to blacks specifically. They are ignoring blatant racist attacks coming for mainstream media and everywhere. Gucci just pulled one of its shockingly racist sweaters in blackface, following H&M’s racist imagery debacle. The Dems are silent on all of these things. And when Democratic leaders were exposed for blackface, there seemed to be more concern for damage control. To make things worse, recently and literally while addressing blackface, Democratic presidential hopeful Corey Booker suggested offering compassion and forgiveness and then very quickly veered off into talking about “homophobia” instead. Truly pathetic.

When talk of reparations hit the mainstage which is a rarity, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tried to smoothly detach reparations from a connection to slavery to extend it to include Mexicans and Puerto Ricans. Reparations…for Mexicans? The Democratic party leeches off of the black community and expects the black vote, but is basically mandating that the black community will get nothing unless other groups benefit.

Now more than ever, growing pockets of people in the black community are waking up and vowing not to vote Democratic until the candidates speak on key issues and make promises the same way they pander to other groups. A simple request, but they are floundering and failing to deliver. And as they continue to fail in this initiative, they continue to lose black voters.

The Identity Politics

The Democrats are lost in identity politics and are embarrassing themselves at every turn.
Presidential hopeful Elizabeth Warren spent her entire political career purporting the lie that she is of Native American heritage when she doesn’t have a drop of conclusively indigenous blood and was never affiliated with a tribe. She called herself Native American based entirely on passed down family hearsay. This non-issue is ironically very important because it exposes a lot about character; that she as a white woman of privilege would identify as an oppressed people that she has no relation to whatsoever, is telling. She used an identity that doesn’t belong to her to add a little spice to her narrative. And when Trump embarrassed her and called her bluff, she decided to double down and ended up getting exposed. The party’s decision to try and put a positive spin on DNA results manifesting her to be 99% European (and 1% whatever) was definitely a low point. Regardless, it is in the liberal bag of tricks to appeal to the masses identifying with or as a minority. In the cases of Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris, it keeps backfiring.

Liberal identity politics is creating a like-minded base of zealots, but turning away hordes of people. For example, many of the liberal feminist voices are being exposed as irrational and anti-black male. CNN contributor Symone Sanders received backlash because she was triggered by Luke Campbell, formerly of 2 Live Crew, and his very reasonable critique of Kamala Harris based on her record. Sanders and many voices like her from the liberal left are making themselves appear to be incapable of respectful discourse because they are increasingly showing themselves to be too smug, and too deeply immersed in ideology. They are having difficulty discussing the issues without appearing to be obsessed and fixated on race and gender. Kamala Harris does in fact, have a very disturbing track record, but Sanders could not bring herself to make relevant points using logic. And so, she did not address any of Campbell’s well-articulated points. She instead lumped Cambell into a group and attacked black men, insinuating that black men are not allowed to have critical opinions, and as if Kamala Harris is somehow above reproach. In her own words, “Uncle Luke is no political mastermind or strategist,” Sanders tweeted. “Why do black men keep popping up with their unsolicited opinions about Kamala Harris?” Sanders is on the defensive line for Kamala Harris seemingly because she is a black woman that she seems to feel should not be scrutinized, to hell with how many lives she’s ruined and how many people she locked up. Sanders exposed herself to be both racist and sexist. Her party might need to have her sit some things out. However, she is far from alone.

Democrats are cheering for everything and are trying to appeal to everybody. They’re all about giving rights and privileges to non-citizens. They are celebrating the removal of gender-based pronouns in full support of “gender fluid” citizens. They cheer whenever someone gay, transgender or a woman is elected into office. You name it, the Democrats support it, and they will cheer. However, the nonstop promotion of minority status, intersectionality, and victim culture are reaching a peak. We don’t need any pronouns changed, laws enabling people to change the sex on our birth certificates, safe spaces, citizenship rights for migrants, indoctrination camps to convince women to work in STEM industries, or any of those things. Society at large does not need a lot of what the Democrats are very busy working on. In a nutshell, this is an idealistically confused party on the wrong side of history thinking it’s on the progressive right side of history because it’s placating to multiple fringe groups.

The Scandals

The Democrats are pro-abortion which is a respectable stance based on varying opinions. People can agree to disagree. However, while people were confused about what the late-term abortion act was all about, the Democrats held a celebration when the Reproductive Health Act was passed, during which, Governor Cuomo took a bow to a cheering crowd. Again, even though there was some confusion as to what the act really meant, an abortion law being passed was not the right event for cheering crowds or a Governor patting himself on the back. It was weird. The moment should have been spent more solemnly educating people about what it really meant and who it would help. There was nothing to cheer about. At any rate, there is an obstinate narcissism coming from the left as liberal-minded people celebrate their victories with or without the issue conclusively being on the right side of history.

Then there is all the racism in the party being exposed. There’s also all the sexual assault scandals being pumped out from the left. And things are so bad, there are even many situations in which sexual assault and racism collide. Perhaps the most egregious instance of sexual assault and racism colliding is what the Party is doing to their own Virginia Lt. Governor, Justin Fairfax. Literally right after Virginia Governor Ralph Northam was exposed for his racist past and blackface picture, and after calls for his resignation increased, suddenly old, and once believed to be very weak allegations against Fairfax were pushed front and center. Rape and sexual assault are serious, but the left is behind the routine use of weaponized allegations used as smear campaigns and political take-downs in the court of public opinion. If we allow this, it sets a very bad precedent for the future.

The Democrats are completely submerged in rape culture hysteria and routinely fan the flames on allegations against both Republican and even their own Democratic leaders. It’s not that allegations should be dismissed. Of course, all allegations should be taken very seriously. However, the Democrats seem to be consistently pushing a plethora of politically charged allegations and at seemingly suspicious times. And simultaneously the Democrats keep suggesting we bypass legal protocol, due process, and just spring into punitive action in our emotions. And in this, the Democrats are very wrong, wild and very dangerous.

Not everyone is buying the allegations hurled at Justin Fairfax because the timing is way too suspicious. The lawyers for Vanessa Tyson, the main accuser, is also saying that she just wants to put her allegation on record to unseat the Lt. Governor, but she doesn’t want to cooperate with any due process proceedings due to trauma. Sorry, but it doesn’t work that way. We have a Constitutional right to face our accusers. We don’t just believe people. And the second accuser, Meredith Watson, also accused basketball player Corey Maggette of rape, and has a history of menacing, stalking and terroristic threats of sabotage to a former lover. Sorry, these allegations should have never gone straight to the media.

Feminists might demand we not dismiss allegations of women as lies or political sabotage tactics, but that might be reprehensible naiveté. They are making emotion-based excuses to eliminate due process. The allegations and sudden pressure to unseat Fairfax appear to be 100% political, exposing the party’s good ol’ boy racism and political schemes. Representation for both accusers are asking for Fairfax’s immediate resignation and cite that as satisfactory punitive action and they aren’t looking for anything else. The fact that these accusers are not seeking justice or an investigation, and are only looking for Fairfax’s resignation exposes what this is. The new normal of just believing decades-old allegations and then springing into immediate punitive action has gotten way out of control and it needs to stop.

With the Lt. Governor now ensnared in his own scandal, obviously, it throws a wrench in Northam’s resignation, as was most likely the plan. To make matters worse, many high-profile democratic members showed how weak, spineless and obedient to the party they were like Senator Cory Booker, yet again. Just because allegations were hurled at Fairfax, Corey Booker joined other high-profile Democrats to quickly declare publicly that Justin Fairfax needs to resign immediately, even though Fairfax vehemently denies the allegations and is asking for an investigation. Again, this man is running for president and doesn’t seem to understand due process or respect for the laws of the land. Corey Booker showed everyone that he will not stand up for what is right, will ride waves of what he feels is popular and will simply do what his party tells him to do. And no, political stooges should not be president. Fairfax’s resignation would be unjust. Corey Booker and other top Democrats ignoring Justin Fairfax’s request for an investigation and demanding he just resign is showing us the Party has no real leadership.

The Unravelling

I already know what both parties really are, but this is an appeal to the people in them to wake up and refuse any participation in the debauchery on either side. The Democratic party is struggling and seems to have a primary goal of unseating Trump, but it needs to be about more than that. While they are blaming Trump for the erosion of the country’s moral compass, the Party seems unable to see itself doing far worse. What’s worse? Well, routinely playing politics over people’s lives. Covertly undermining black civil rights initiatives while pushing out black candidates as a smoke screen. Completely destroying the laws of the land and Constitutional rights for the new “just believe” culture. Reigniting mob rule mentality and trials by media and public opinion. Diverting party attention and resources over to migrants over citizens. Emasculating boys and promoting “gender fluidity” in lieu of nurturing traditional family dynamics. Incessantly forcing new language and words onto people without collectively agreed upon or reasonable justifications.  Manipulating education to promote false ideology to appease small fringe groups etc. etc. Yes, all of that seems to be on the democratic left, and no, not much of what the left is doing is “right”.
