The Eric Garner debate is exhausting because it’s another painful reminder of how divided our American society is. One of the reasons for our divisions is the unseen spiritual battle amiss. There is a spiritual and cultural paradigm shift on its way, and as many members of society are raising their vibration, simultaneously others are falling deeper into low vibrational energy, tribalism, racism and team groupthink more than ever. Like the weeds growing side by side with the wheat, it’s time to face the reality that we are not all the same. Some people are simply not capable of the human empathy necessary to be on the right side of history.
As the arguing continues it’s clear to see that many people don’t even understand the greater implications of the situation, and that as human beings, we really should all be on the same page. However, because of socially engineered divisions we are all over the place. Instead of collectively thinking with an understood code of morality, people have chosen a side and are trapped in a divisive “us versus them” mentality.
The Truth About the Garner Case
What many people in media never explain about the Garner incident is that even if Garner survived, it would have been an unlawful arrest. Lots of ignorant and perhaps bigoted people showing no empathy for human life, and unable to see the real issues amiss, love to callously shoot his death down by saying, “He shouldn’t have resisted”. The truth is that the police did not manifest a reason for his arrest, nor was he in the act of physically resisting an arrest. He was snuck up on from behind. Aside from which, they shouldn’t have been arresting him in the first place.
Now let’s unpack the “crime”. It wasn’t a “real” crime that had any victims. Nor was Garner in the act of committing a crime at the time of the unlawful arrest. The police are blaming the matter on complaints from local businesses about Garner, specifically, selling in front of their stores. However, no local businesses admit this. Regardless, the “crime” he was suspected of (because of prior arrests) is non-violent and one of many fabricated technical crimes imposed on the populace, in this case, to ensure that the government gets its cut during all commerce. Government taxation is another conversation entirely and this is just to put things in the proper perspective. The law refers to these types of crimes as “consensual crimes” and they are fabricated by governments. He wasn’t a murder, rape, or robbery suspect. In short, this was not a situation that required a police pile on or any use of force. Nor was it a situation that should ever have resulted in a death, as other closed-minded citizens side with their oppression and insist the death was justified because he shouldn’t have been breaking the law. People need to be very careful that they aren’t unwittingly leading themselves and society toward fascism and police states.
It isn’t just Officer Pantaleo that deserves the heat, the whole scene shouldn’t have happened. The cops went there already following bad orders and Eric Garner was not in the act of committing a crime. They went to arrest him solely because they knew him and arrested him in the past for selling cigarettes. The department nor the media will ever admit that isn’t how things are supposed to be done. Garner was not “resisting arrest”. He was demanding they stop harassing him—and it was they who should have complied.
Because of societal ignorance, law enforcement can sometimes trick people who don’t know their rights. For example, this is sometimes seen during traffic stops. There are times when officers order people out of their vehicles and begin searching their pockets or the vehicle. Some people have no idea that this could be refused. And so, some people imprudently believe showing the cop they have nothing to hide and allowing searches is the better option than demanding their rights be respected. We are entering a dangerously ignorant era in which many people in society don’t know the lessons we already learned from history why it’s important to keep authority in check and keep our rights intact.
A large portion of society are brainwashed to think of officers as infallible and behave as though all cops are in the right no matter what. Not so. Every job industry on planet earth makes mistakes or has bad employees. And Pantaleo was one of those bad apples, another topic that is missing from the public dialogue. By the time of Garner’s death Pantaleo had already been disciplined several times for abusing his authority and violating rights. The department knew he was a problem. Regardless, Garner was Constitutionally in the right to protest because he was not at that moment committing a crime. Therefore, there was no reason for them to be surrounding him and arresting him.
Unfortunately, many Americans don’t know or understand their own laws and rights. Consequently, we keep seeing people keep blaming the victim and siding with the establishment. In the video Garner was clearly saying he didn’t do anything—and he was right. There wasn’t even a pack of cigarettes on him. So, as programmed American halfwits call Eric Garner names or make ignorant statements like, “If you want to breath don’t break the law”—he wasn’t.
Officer Pantaleo’s action were bad no matter how you look at it. Garner was protesting his harassment and not yet aware the decision to take him in was made. No handcuffs were out either. Idealistically in the right, Garner clearly thought he was talking himself out the situation with officers standing in front of him listening. However, Pantaleo unconcerned with dialogue snuck around his rear and surprise choked him from behind taking him down. While being choked, all the other officers reflexively just piled on him like a pack of dogs. This simply cannot be explained off as proper police protocol and if someone says so, they are lying or just imbecilic.
America’s Future Looking Dismal
Punishment was never supposed to take so long or be so controversial. It was all caught on video and there wasn’t anything to debate. The illegal chokehold administered during what was clearly an unlawful arrest resulted in Eric Garner’s death. That’s it. The refusal to simply call it what it is, is an example of how far society keeps regressing by the day.
And that’s the scary part of the America we live in today. People who are wrong don’t know even they are wrong or won’t admit it. In fact, Officer Pantaleo is about to be rewarded handsomely for being a degenerate on the force because they started a Gofund me for him that already reached 6 figures. And instead of Pantaleo being punished for killing a man for the world to see, the person who shot the video was the one thrown in jail on trumped up charges. If that doesn’t disturb you, you are among the lost and unreachable.
Scores of people today are spiritually dead and completely calcified, so they have no spiritual or moral compass whatsoever. On top of this, many police departments have become whining, entitled and self-righteous gangs that deem themselves above reproach, even when they are clearly wrong. People make arguments for everything these days. Nowadays the police unions vehemently protest any and all punitive action. They are also dangerously showing no respect or empathy for people impacted by mistakes, rogue cops, or errors in judgement that have resulted in deaths.
So again, as society crumbles it’s easy to see that there is a spiritual and cultural tsunami on its way about to wash through the madness. Simply put, America cannot and will not survive for very long harmoniously without a soul.
